Day 12 - Newport North Jetty and Coney Island

The Team crosses the dunes to reach the beach at North Jetty.

Play ball!

Right now someone is wondering where the heck they left their sneakers.

These eagles were having an aerial spat.

The gulls ignore the action overhead.

So does The Team.

It is Art if I say it is Art.

The gull sisters look on in tandem - they don't think it's art.

Boy on the beach.

The North Jetty.

Beyond the dunes the Yaquina Bay lighthouse oversees her territory.

Local scientists are currently studying the phenomenon of just how the beach grass is able to create these communication marks. They fear the grass has been seconded to send earth secrets to the aliens.

These are tiny "Blue Sailors". They are usually waay bigger and stink. Dunno what happened this year.

Don't tangle with this one.
